MEDICAL REFERRALS

Connecting Cultures provides direct psychological, social work case management, and legal services to refugees and survivors of torture, their families, and communities.  Medical services are conducted through a referral process.  Community partners such as University of Vermont Medical Center, Pediatric Primary Care and Immigrant Clinic, and Community Health Center of Burlington are familiar with our referral process and work closely with our providers to ensure a high-level of coordinated care.

In addition, Connecting Cultures provides physical therapy services through Dee Physical Therapy, a program that has created a physical therapy regimen tailored to meet the needs of those that have survived torture and trauma.
